Sustainable and Peer Education Center (SPEC) changed its gear to establish the “Liberal Arts Transdisciplinary Community JOY FOR YOUNG” to establish the themed Liberal Arts Transdisciplinary Community. We take tailored transdisciplinary learning as our direction, recruiting willing and interested instructors to become themed community Leaders. We have also expanded it to students (Learners) from the entire university, allowing students to choose areas they are interested in and wish to explore. Instructors and students work together to create a diverse learning community, not only feeling love and support on-campus, but leading students to establish soft skills such as self-exploration, transdisciplinary knowledge, independent thinking, negotiative communications, group leadership, international vision, social concern, and healthy lifestyle through mutual learning between instructors and students.

The Center for Sustainable & Peer Education Center plans and holds various activities:

  1. Once a month we hold a “Joy For Young Day”, allowing the learners and leaders participating in the project a chance to meet, interact and share with students and instructors from other campuses.
  2. “Joy For Young Salon”: According to the set theme, we will invite representative industry professionals or those related to the theme to share a meal with the students, increasing their understanding and experience of the theme through sharing and interaction.
  3. “Joy for Young Final Sharing”: At the end of the semester, planning to hold a final presentation for the semester, presented through both static and dynamic formats to allow instructors and students from different themes to interact.
  4. “SPEC Happy hour”: This is a relax and casual time for learners/leaders to come and share.
